Proverbs
28:13 “He that
covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them
shall have mercy.” (KJV)
“You
will never succeed in life if you try to hide your sins. Confess them and give
them up; then God will show mercy to you.” (GNV)
We
must agree with God that sinful habits passed away (dead works), then we must
confess them as they are, then we must forsake them. We will obtain
mercy.
PRAYER
POINTS

Lord,
please help me to continue to know the premise of “Old man died. His
sinful habits also died with him.” Unbelief, begone in Jesus' name!
·
Lord,
please baptise me into violence against sin and his habits.
·
Lord,
let faith arise in me to forsake, get rid of sinful habits.
·
Help
me love righteousness and hate iniquity like my Lord Jesus. Anything that sent
my Master to the cross must not be my friend. I hate sin and sinful
habits.

Lord,
help me labour to clean up the mess of the old man from my life so I can enter
into my rest inside Christ.
·
As
a woman, help me hate even the garment that is spotted by the flesh,
spiritually and even physically. May I not be a perpetrator of sinful habits in
other people.
·
Lord,
help me know that I am a fighter, a warrior, a soldier. Help me fight as You
fight against sinful habits. Help me fight the good fight of faith.
·
Lord,
please give me strategies for the different sinful habits that sin littered my
life with. Remove laziness from me and let me key into Your strategies for
results.
